Trunk lid and tailgate actuation

New developments within the automation of vehicle functions concern tailgate/lift gate/trunk lid actuation. Hydraulic systems do this in a safe, silent, smooth and reliable manner. The systems are designed in an optimal way with regards to cost effectiveness and robustness, maintaining flexibility in construction.

Built in safety features are clamp force restrictions and an easy manual override in case of emergencies. Optionally, automatic reversal of the movement, "shield sensing" and sensitive seals can be added.
