In the automotive world, Power-Packer means reliable hydraulic actuation systems for convertible tops. In the last decade, more and more convertibles are being equipped with automated (electric or electro hydraulic) tops. Power-Packer, as market leader, has contributed in this development by supplying customer specific systems that consist of electro hydraulic pumps, hydraulic cylinders and, optional, with electronic control units.



Our customers are major vehicle manufacturers and convertible top suppliers. Our experience in hydraulic motion control enables us to supply dedicated hydraulic actuation systems for high and low volume series production. We also support our customers in specific solutions for prototypes, which should be eye catchers at auto shows, and should function flawlessly. We also use our knowledge for the development of new applications within the automotive industry. One of the latest developments is the trunk lid/tailgate actuation system.
